Eddy Moretti

CCO, Vice

Eddy is responsible for content across VICE's media channels: VICE Magazine, VICE.com, The Creators Project, Motherboard.tv and Noisey.com.

In 2007 Eddy co-directed Heavy Metal In Baghdad, official selection at The Toronto International Film Festival and Berlin Film Festival. In 2009 Eddy co-authored and co-produced White Lightnin': The Jesco White Murders, official selection at Sundance. Most recently Eddy was Co-Executive Producer for The Vice Guide to Everything on MTV and is currently co-Executive Producer with Shane Smith and Bill Maher on a new original series VICE for HBO.

Eddy holds an Hon. B.A. in Cinema Studies from University of Toronto and an M.A. in Cinema Studies from NYU, and he serves on the Chairman's Council of Conservation International.

David Shing

Digital Prophet, AOL

David Shing is AOL's Digital Prophet. He spends most of his time watching the future take shape across the vast online landscape. The rest he spends talking to people about where things are headed, and how we can get the most out of it.

Shing has spent most of his adult life in the digital world working for both large and small creative companies. He served as AOL's European Head of Media and Marketing before taking on his current mantle.

Engaging, witty and refreshingly candid, Shing provides both historical perspective and current context as he lays out his vision of the brave, new world of marketing to come – one he believes will belong to those willing to embrace change and take risks now, and that he dearly hopes will suck a great deal less.

Neil Bedwell

Global Group Director, Digital Strategy and Content, Coca-Cola

A digital-native and creative strategy leader, Neil joined Coca-Cola as Head of Digital at the end of 2011. He brings 12 years agency experience leading work, teams and businesses in London, Amsterdam and San Francisco. He led the creation of a suite of global sites for Adidas seen by 30m people each year. Designed a game for Eurostar that attracted 1.2m players in 4 weeks, in a world before Facebook. Packed 60 artworks into a case to create an interactive art gallery for Amstel.

At Coca-Cola, Neil leads digital content strategy. His work includes the biggest campaign in the company's history for the FIFA World Cup in Brasil 2014, developing new ways to create and publish content in real-time across multiple social channels and managing global creative agency relationships.

At home, Neil balances his digital career with a few analog passions, including a sickness for rusty old race cars and vintage denim.

Becky Brown

Director of Media, Intel

Becky Brown joined Intel in 1992 and brings more than 19 years of experience in sales, marketing and product development.

As the Director of Social Media, Becky manages Intel's global strategy, framework, and the tools that measure social activation in all parts of Intel. Her team sets the social media agenda and social media governance by distributing documentation to Intel employees and by training them.

Her team owns the strategy and engagement plan for the global social networks including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. Becky's group also owns the social media agency model and resourcing for campaigns, tools, paid media integration, and metrics and analytics.

Meredith Levien

Executive Vice President, Advertising, The New York Times

Meredith Kopit Levien was named executive vice president of advertising for The New York Times in July 2013. Ms. Kopit Levien is responsible for the generation of all advertising revenue from The Times's multiplatform products and services and for leadership of the global advertising sales team.

Before joining The Times, she was the chief revenue officer at Forbes Media, where she led the North American and European revenue operations for Forbes.com, the Forbes Magazine Group and Forbes Conferences since 2011.

Ms. Kopit Levien began her professional career in 1993 at the Advisory Board Company in Washington, DC. From 1999 to 2001, she served as an account manager and director of new business for the digital advertising agency and web site development firm, I33 Communications. Before joining Forbes in 2010 as vice president and publisher of ForbesLife and ForbesWoman.com, she held various senior and strategic advertising sales positions at The Atlantic Media Company from 2001 to 2008.

Ms. Kopit Levien received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia in 1993.

Patrick Keane

President, Sharethrough

Patrick Keane is an investor, advisor and executive with nearly 20 years of experience in digital media, marketing, and technology. Patrick most recently was on the board of Bleacher Report (sold to Turner Broadcasting in 2012) and now sits on the board of Onswipe, a New York based tablet publishing platform.

Previously, Patrick was Chief Executive Officer of Associated Content, Inc. The company was sold to Yahoo! in June 2010 for a reported $100 million. Prior to Associated Content, Patrick was EVP and Chief Marketing Officer at CBS Interactive. Patrick spent more than four years at Google, Inc. where he served as Director of Advertising sales strategy. He was the founder and programmer of Zeitgeist, Google's annual thought leadership forum. Patrick was Vice President and Senior Analyst at Jupiter Research. He was featured in Ad Age's "40 Under 40" section in 2007. In 2009 & 2010 he was selected to Business Insider's Silicon Alley 100. Patrick graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.

Paul Marcum

Director, Global Digital Marketing & Programming at GE

As Director, Global Digital Marketing & Programming, Paul Marcum is responsible for creating and delivering the company's online brand and reputation around the world through a compelling and engaging Web presence, creation/curation of content, and the development of robust distribution strategies to disseminate GE's stories and messages to key audiences and stakeholders.

Joining GE in November 2011, Marcum brought to the role 17 years of experience as a pioneer in digital media and a unique background in marketing, content development and digital distribution. Through roles at Yahoo!, Sesame Workshop and the breakthrough advertising firm Modem Media, he has developed award-winning digital experiences for iconic global brands such as Star Wars, Citi, Sesame Street and AT&T. He has structured and negotiated distribution and licensing partnerships with a broad range of organizations including Comcast, Google, Verizon Wireless, AOL and Lucasfilm and launched multiple new product lines across a variety of platforms.

Over the years he has helped lead the evolution of content in the digital environment, recently creating the NY Data Visualization Meetup, serving on the PBS Next Generation Advisory Board and participating as an ATAS Interactive Emmy judge. A graduate of Northwestern University, he lives in New York with his wife, two kids and two labs and, when not in front of a screen, can often be found skiing, playing tennis or golfing. Tim Malone

Head of Content, The North Face

Tim Malone has more than 15 years of experience bringing brands to market through a unique proposition where entertainment meets brand strategy. In his current role as Head of Content for The North Face, he leads a diverse team of specialists to create, curate and distribute great stories that are both brand-right and are designed to engage.

Prior to, Tim was Partner, Director, Business Development and Entertainment Marketing, for Ogilvy & Mather's entertainment arm, OgilvyEntertainment. He has also worked in the film, publishing, and action sports industries for over a decade, bridging the gab between paid, owned and earned media by creating impactful great stories.

Daryl Evans

Vice President, Consumer Advertising and Marketing Communications AT&T

Daryl Evans, vice president, consumer advertising and marketing communications oversees AT&T consumer advertising as well as marketing communications and merchandising for consumer products including AT&T wireless, DSL, TV and connected wireless products

Evans joined Cingular Wireless in 2001, its founding year, and drove the creation of the Cingular brand. In 2007 Cingular was rebranded to AT&T and Evans' responsibility expanded to all of the company's consumer products. Before joining AT&T he served as Managing Director for Randstad, the third largest employment company in the world. Prior to that, Evans served McCann-Erickson Worldwide as senior vice president/deputy general manager as well as senior vice president/director of client services. In that position, he managed accounts such as Coca-Cola, Motorola and Georgia-Pacific—and founded the AFLAC account. He and his teammates have won numerous awards including Cannes Lions, Effies and others.

Prior to McCann, Evans gained marketing and brand experience with companies ranging from Quaker Oats and Kimberly Clark Corporation on the client side to D'Arcy Masius Benton and Bowles on the agency side.

Evans currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Ad Council, The Alliance Theatre, The College Football Hall of Fame, The Atlanta Convention and Business Bureau and the American Marketing Association (Atlanta Chapter). He also serves as Chairman of the Chick-fil-A Bowl.

Evans holds a Bachelor's Degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina and a Master's Degree in business from the Harvard Business School.

Todd Wasserman

Business Editor, Mashable

Todd Wasserman is the business editor of Mashable. Prior to joining the company in 2010, Wasserman was editor-in-chief of Brandweek (which has since been folded into Adweek), where he worked since 1999. Before that, Wasserman worked at various daily newspapers and tech publications. His freelance work has also run in The New York Times, Newsday, The Hollywood Reporter and Business 2.0.

Erin Griffith

Writer, Fortune

Erin Griffith covers New York startups for PandoDaily. She's worked as staff writer for Adweek and a private equity blogger for peHUB. Her writing has appeared in VCJ, Time Out New York, Huffington Post, FT.com, and BUST. She plays keyboard in a band called Team Genius and Tweets as @Eringriffith.

Mike McAvoy

President, The Onion

Mike McAvoy has been the President of The Onion since 2008. Prior to becoming President, he was a financial analyst, comptroller, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at America's Finest News Source. He worked in banking and online education before coming to The Onion.

In his current role, McAvoy is responsible for the day-to-day operation of both The Onion and its sister publication, The A.V. Club. Among other responsibilities, he has direct oversight of the company's, advertising, product development, technology and finance departments. He hardly writes any jokes at all.

A Wisconsin native, he is a graduate of St. Thomas University in Minnesota with a degree in home economics.

Mike and his wife, Lindsay, have made their home in Chicago since 2007. In August of 2013, identical twin boys Aiden & Owen joined the family.
